Participant Definition

For the purposes of this Waiver & Release of Liability, the individual signing this document shall be referred to as the “Participant.” By signing below, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this waiver.

1. Assumption of Risk

Participation in martial arts training, including Muay Thai, involves inherent and significant risks of physical injury. These risks include but are not limited to bruises, sprains, strains, cuts, fractures, concussions, permanent disability, or death. Injuries may occur through physical contact, training drills, equipment failure, or actions of other participants.

By voluntarily participating in this seminar, the participant acknowledges, understands, and accepts these risks and assumes full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur.

2. Release and Waiver of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the participant hereby releases, waives, and discharges any and all claims against:

All coaches, instructors, staff members, volunteers, event organizers, sponsors, affiliates, and representatives

from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in the seminar, including those resulting from negligence to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3. Indemnification

The participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the above listed parties from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from participation in the seminar or violation of the event policies.

4. Participant Responsibilities

Participants agree to:

Follow all instructions given by the instructor and event staff.
Train safely and within their personal physical limits.
Wear appropriate Muay Thai training gear including gloves, shin guards, mouthguard, and hand wraps.
Conduct themselves in a respectful and safe manner at all times.

Failure to follow instructions or safety guidelines may result in removal from the seminar without refund.

5. Medical Responsibility

The participant affirms that they are physically able to participate in martial arts training and have no medical condition that would prevent safe participation. The participant assumes full responsibility for any medical costs resulting from injury during the seminar.

6. Media Release

The participant grants permission for photographs and video recordings taken during the event to be used by the event organizers for promotional, marketing, or educational purposes without compensation.

7. Recording & Content Policy

Participants and spectators may record photos or short video clips for personal use and social media.

However:

Recording or posting extended footage or the seminar in its entirety is strictly prohibited.
Full-session recordings or long instructional segments may not be distributed online.

Violation of this policy may result in removal from the event and requests for content removal.

Agreement & Acknowledgment

Understand that they are giving up certain legal rights by signing it.
Voluntarily agree to participate in the seminar under the terms stated above.
